“Drinks were ok, pretty standard. But I really liked the Mala quail eggs! I went on a Friday night and it was getting noisy when I left - and I left really early at around 8 - so I expect that it would get bustling thereafter. Nice vibes if you’re with a group of friends”

“Great cocktails!! All the cocktails we ordered were hits and no misses. For munchies the Mala quail eggs are so good. If you’re hungry, the beef rice pot was comforting!! We heard the sticky ribs were good but we didn’t have stomach space. Pork skewers were dry for me because I prefer fattier cuts but my friend enjoyed it. Great vibes, it’s somewhere you’ll want to revisit again and again.”

“My food rating guide: 2.5/5 ‐-------> Average taste 5/5 ‐--------> Scrumptious! (My comfort food! 🤩) Nice cocktail place ambience. Friendly staffs. Food was great. Chicken schnitzel was nice. Well fried and evenly seasoned with spices. Used probably the breast meat that was drier but it was cooked to good tenderness. The sauce elevate the chicken meat. Crab hand pie crust was soft but not soggy. The filling was savoury with seafood flavour. The curry sauce didn't elevate the pie. Beef cheek pasta was my top pick. Tender beef, al dente and flagrant pasta, and sumptous sauce. Steak and rice was delicious. Medium well savoury beef cube with sweet teriyaki well cooked rice. Home-made sourdough was more than meet the eyes. Beef fat filled soft bread with crunchy crust (might be a tad hard for some). Good by itself. The umami butter didn't fully elevated the bread. Classic tiramisu was just right. Not too sweet, distinct coffee flagrance and alcohol. Load pan cheese cake was good. Well balanced loose cheese texture. Now the cocktails. Well balanced, strong, and mostly could get the different ingredients taste. Whiskey sour was strong, sour and well balanced. Paloma was distintively fruity and flagrant. Dirty bananas was punchy, mocha, and bitter. Very nice coffee foam. The dried banana with cream matched well. Spicy mango margarita was fruity, strong, with short spice sting, and not too sweet. A very nice and well balance tropical vibe drink. Penicillin had the spicy kick and sour. The whisky pleated lollipop was a great match. Wild fresh sana was quite sour. Rather mediocre. Lacked depth. Alexandra hopper was full bodied and quite sweet. The sweetness was quite overwhelming. Licking the cinnamon stick did help to balance the taste a bit. Nuclear daiquiri was a bomb. Innocently looking with refreshing taste while the 53% alcohol kicked in quickly and smoothly in you. Peach hanami was mediocre. Matcha foam was underwhelming. Lychee martini was fruity and fragrant. The grapefruit smell and taste overpower the lychee flavour. The meal and drinks were a 5/5 🤩”

“10/10 experience here, watching Bobbert explain the menu and taking his time to reccomend the perfect drink for our group of 9 was like a master class in customer service. Amazing ambience, everyone had a great time. It was clear the speakeasy experience was not an afterthought , the cafe front was fully functional and I would love to enjoy coffee and a sandwich there one day when I'm back!”
